If there is one thing to be said about the Hyères festival, it's that it doesn't resemble any fashion event you've ever been to. Perhaps it's the combination of fashion and photography, perhaps it's the unusual location at the modernist, hillside Villa Noailles, utterly inaccessible in high heels, or perhaps it's just the French way of doing things, which is by definition laid back...
